- What is Explorer Photo Tours?
- Explorer Photo Tours is a company that offers photography tours and workshops to destinations around the world. Our goal is to provide a unique and immersive travel experience that combines photography education with cultural immersion and adventure.
- What kind of photography experience do I need to have?
- Our tours are open to photographers of all skill levels, from beginners to professionals. We provide instruction and guidance throughout the tour, so you don’t need to have any prior photography experience to participate.
- What kind of camera equipment do I need to bring?
- We recommend bringing a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera or a mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses. A wide-angle lens (between 10-22mm) and a telephoto lens (between 70-200mm) are also recommended. Additionally, you may want to bring a tripod, remote shutter release, and extra batteries and memory cards.
Booking and Payment
- How do I book a tour?
- To book a tour, simply visit our website and select the tour you are interested in. Fill out the booking form and submit it to us. We will contact you to confirm your booking and provide you with a payment link.
- What is the payment schedule?
- A deposit of $500 is required to secure your spot on the tour. The balance is due 60 days prior to the start of the tour.
- What if I need to cancel my tour?
- If you need to cancel your tour, please contact us in writing as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your cancellation, but please note that we may not be able to provide a full refund.
Travel and Accommodations
- What kind of accommodations can I expect?
- We book accommodations that are comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. In some cases, we may stay in luxury hotels or resorts, while in other cases, we may stay in more rustic or locally-owned accommodations.
- How will I get around during the tour?
- We will provide transportation during the tour, either by renting vehicles or hiring local drivers. In some cases, we may also use public transportation or walk between locations.
- What kind of food can I expect?
- We will provide meals during the tour, which will typically include a mix of local cuisine and Western-style food. We can also accommodate special dietary requests with advance notice.

- We take the safety and security of our guests very seriously. We will provide information about local conditions and customs, and we will take steps to ensure that our guests are aware of any potential risks or hazards.
- What if I get sick or injured during the tour?
- We will do our best to provide medical assistance if you become sick or injured during the tour. We also recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover any medical expenses that may arise.
